Use your own Twilio for texting

Quo is the easiest way to text from Busy Book, but you can use your own Twilio account instead. Busy Book checks your keys, finds your Twilio number and sets up replies for you. Texts bill to your Twilio account.

   Open Connections

   In the menu, tap Settings, then Business profile, then the Connections tab. Under your texting number, tap Or use your own Twilio account.

   Get a Twilio number

   In Twilio, open Phone Numbers, then Buy a number, and pick a local number that can text.

   Register it for texting

   In Twilio, open Messaging, then Regulatory compliance, and finish the US carrier registration (A2P 10DLC). Texts don't deliver until the carriers approve it.

   Copy your keys

   On your Twilio Console home page, under Account info, copy the Account SID and the Auth Token (tap Show).

   Paste them and connect

   Back in Busy Book, paste both and tap Connect Twilio. If your account has more than one number, pick the one that texts your clients.

   You're all set

   Texts go out from your Twilio number now, and replies come back on their own. Tap Change number or Disconnect anytime.
