Cleaning business name ideas
Put in your city and the feel you want, and get name ideas to start from. Then make the three checks before you fall in love with one.
The three checks before you pick a name
You guys, don't print shirts or build a website until you know the name is yours, okay? Do these three checks first. They're free and they don't take long.
- Your state. Search your Secretary of State's business name database to make sure no other business in your state is registered with it. Find your state's search
- Trademarks. Search the U.S. trademark database, so you don't pick a name another company owns. Search trademarks at USPTO
- The website address. See if the .com is taken. Look up the domain
What makes a good cleaning business name
Keep it easy to say and easy to spell, so people can find you on Google after a friend tells them about you, right? Putting your city in the name can help people know you're local, but it can box you in if you grow into other cities. And skip anything that sounds like a cheap service, because your name should match the price you charge.
Once you have your name, the next step is registering it. Read do I need an LLC for a cleaning business for the order to do it in.
